One Night in Singapore and The Fullerton Hotel

We had a one day layover in Singapore on our way back to New York from Indonesia and had the chance to stay at the Fullerton Hotel. Given how crazy the month was, with sunrise missions, local buses, volcano hikes, and such, we were glad to have a day to relax!

The building itself is an actual landmark of the city (it even served as the country’s Post Office at one point), and it shows, both from the outside facade to the lobby’s architecture. The location is quite central and we enjoyed a walk around Marina Bay, the Helix Bridge, and downtown. The city looks impressive at night, with all the different colored lights of the skyscrapers.

A pretty awesome perk from the hotel is that each room comes with a personal phone for you to use during your stay. This was quite helpful, given that we had no cell service in the city and we were able to use it to navigate around.

We wish we had more time in the city to explore more, such as Gardens by the Bay. However, in the short time we had, the Fullerton was a great choice. We took advantage of the pool and spa, and the breakfast buffets (there’s multiple restaurants) were amazing. Definitely check them out if you intend to visit Singapore!
